Demolition & Structure Removal in Castroville and the Hill Country

Old homes, barns, sheds, mobile homes, and slabs: torn down, broken up, and hauled off.

A lot of rural property comes with something on it that has outlived its use: an old farmhouse, a collapsing barn, a mobile home, a shed nobody has opened in years, or a slab where a building used to be.

Tierra Linda Services handles demolition from start to finish. We tear the structure down, break up the slab and foundation, haul off the debris, and leave the site clear and ready for whatever comes next, whether that’s a new home, a barn, or open pasture.

What We Demolish

  • Old houses and farmhouses
  • Barns, sheds, and outbuildings
  • Mobile homes
  • Concrete slabs, foundations, and old pads
  • Fences, pens, and other old ranch structures

More Than a Teardown

Knocking a building over is the easy part. The job is finished when the slab is broken up, the debris is gone, and the ground is ready to use. We plan demolition with the next step in mind. If you’re building on the same spot, we can roll straight into site work and grading so the new pad is cut, filled, and graded without waiting on another contractor.

We run compact excavators along with larger equipment. A machine that size gets into tight spots around trees, fences, and existing buildings while still having the power to break up foundations and load debris.

How a Demolition Project Works

  1. Onsite visit. We look at the structure, the access, and what’s around it, and talk through what you want the site to become.
  2. Clear scope and cost. You’ll know what’s included and what it will cost before we start.
  3. Teardown and slab removal. Structure down, foundation and slab broken up.
  4. Haul-off and cleanup. Debris removed and the site left clean, or prepped for the next phase.

What Affects the Cost of Demolition

  • Size and type of structure (wood frame, metal, block, or a mix)
  • Whether there’s a slab or foundation to break up and remove
  • Volume of debris and haul-off distance
  • Access for equipment and trucks
  • Whether you want the site graded or prepped after demolition

The quickest way to a real number is an onsite look. Request a quote and send a few photos if you have them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you remove the concrete slab too?

Yes. We break up slabs and foundations and haul them off as part of the job, so the ground is usable again.

Can you demolish a mobile home?

Yes. We remove mobile homes along with any skirting, decks, and debris around them.

Can you prep the site for a new building after demolition?

Yes. Demolition often leads straight into site work and grading for a new pad. One crew can carry the project from teardown to build-ready.

Do you work on small jobs?

Yes. We take on everything from a single shed or slab to clearing an entire old homestead.
